Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo Are Married in Secret Ceremony

Nick Lachey and his fiancee Vanessa Minnillo became husband and wife last night, in a gorgeous and very intimate wedding ceremony on a tropical island. Their nuptials will air on TLC as part of a special.

The two got engaged in November last year and, though pressed for details, would not reveal the wedding date to the press.

As it turns out, the guests didn’t know about it either, People magazine reports, after getting confirmation from a rep for the couple.

Without being told where they were going, 35 family members and closest friends were flown to the exotic island where the wedding took place at sunset.

“Nobody knew where they were going,” Minnillo explains. “Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket. We told them they were going away and the attire was ‘island chic.’ It was all very vague,” Lachey adds.

“For us, this is just a stepping stone to do what we ultimately want and that’s to start a family together,” the blushing bride says for the same publication.

Further details or photos from the ceremony are not available right now. Perhaps they will not even be made public, since the entire event was shot by TLC cameras for a TV special.

However, People has some tidbits about the bride’s gorgeous gown.

“[She] donned a two-piece Monique Lhuillier ensemble featuring an intricately embellished lace corset with rose and crystal detail, paired with a signature hand tufted skirt made of silk faille. The look was completed with a tailored bow belt at her waist and chapel length tulle veil,” the magazine writes.

Nick looked his usual dapper self in a D&G suit.

Fans of the two will be able to see more of their super-secret wedding on July 30, when TLC airs the special called “Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding” at 9-11pm ET/PT.

Jennifer Aniston Brings Justin Theroux at Public Ceremony

It’s official now: if she made him wait in the car while she did the red carpet ceremony at the LA premiere of “Horrible Bosses,” Jennifer Aniston is ready to go public with Justin Theroux. He sat, freshly-shaven and smiling, front row at her handprint ceremony.

The other day, Aniston got her own set of handprints and footprints outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, PopEater can confirm.

Though she didn’t make it a point of showing off her new beau, Justin was spotted in the front row: he had just shaved off his beard and was clearly happy to see his girlfriend being honored by the industry, PopEater says.

“The ‘Horrible Bosses’ star left her mark on Hollywood, making her hands a permanent fixture outside the infamous theatre in front of the press, adoring fans, and a few famous pals,” the e-zine writes.

“Jason Bateman and funny girl, Chelsea Handler, were on hand to support their favorite ‘friend’ but most notably present – her boyfriend, Justin Theroux,” says PopEater.

The two have been dating for some months but, until this ceremony, they never attended a public event together, let alone as a couple.

With Justin sitting front row, it’s safe to say that they’re an item, officially. Now, fans keeping an eye out for more details can hope that, perhaps, they will do an interview together soon.

“The now recognizable actor was sitting in the front row, cheering on his best gal as she left her handprints in the cement. Theroux and Aniston don’t seem to be hiding their budding romance any longer,” PopEater also says.

Over the weekend, for instance, when she arrived for the LA premiere of her latest film, Jennifer asked Justin to wait in the car and then slip inside the theater to a side door to avoid the press.

As expected, this prompted even more media attention, even though it’s not such an uncommon move with celebrities to ask partners to not do the red carpet with them.

Mike Tyson Renews Wedding Vows in Surprise Vegas Ceremony

Mike Tyson and wife Lakiha Spicer surprised family and friends in Las Vegas with a wedding ceremony that saw them renew their vows, 2 years after they were married. The ceremony was followed by a party.

The two were initially married – also in Vegas – ten days after Mike’s 4-year-old daughter died in hospital from injuries sustained in a freak home accident.

They told no one about it beforehand. Because of this, the couple didn’t invite anyone to the ceremony and it was not followed by a party.

Mike and Lakiha certainly made it up to relatives and friends the other day, surprising them with the wedding ceremony, TMZ reports.

“Tyson and his wife Lakiha invited hundreds of friends to a joint birthday party they threw for each other at the M Resort, but the b-day party was merely a cover for a secret vow renewal,” the e-zine writes.

After they made sure all the guests had arrived to the party, the two went AWOL for a short while, only to appear in front of everybody from behind a curtain – in full wedding apparel.

“With the crowd completely surprised, the couple proceeded to renew their vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony,” TMZ says.

“We’re told the two decided to do the big ‘wedding’ party this time around because they skipped out on a celebration when they were secretly married at a small Vegas chapel back in 2009,” the publication further notes.

It also says that guests had a wonderful time. They were offered a choice of chicken entree or steak, and danced the night away to the music played by a live band.

Lakiha is Mike’s third wife and, from what he’s saying, his last one. Speaking with Oprah last year, the former boxing champ said he was “destitute and broke” and definitely undeserving of having such a wonderful family, but, undoubtedly, also the happiest man on earth.
