June 21st, 2011, 11:50 GMT| By Andrei DobraSuper Mario 64 DS is a game made by Nintendo's own Entertainment Analysis and Development division, and published by the Japanese company itself exclusively for the DS handheld console, released on November 21, 2004, in North America, December 2, that same year, in Japan, on February 24, 2005, in Australia, and on March 11, 2005, in Europe, as a remastered version of the original Super Mario 64 title that appeared back in the 1990s for the company's Nintendo 64 home console. The game doesn't try to change many of the classic elements from Super Mario 64, in order to draw in players that were pleased by the experience on the Nintendo 64, but does add quite a few enhancements that were made to the graphics, gameplay as well as the story, which now sees the introduction of more playable characters from the famous Mario franchise, including Yoshi, the friendly dinosaur that carries Mario on his back, and sees players engage in an online cooperative mode, thanks to the Nintendo DS' Wi-Fi Connection.

Alternate Mario or Yoshi introduction drawings
At the introduction screen, touch the floating power star when it drops down to the touch screen. The game will draw the characters' pictures differently. For example, if you do it for Yoshi, a heart or a star will appear by his drawn head. As for Mario, his head is drawn at a different angle, or Luigi's head is drawn instead.
Make the game draw your picture for you
Touch either Mario or Yoshi at the main menu. When you touch the draw button, draw your own picture. Then press the touch button, then the draw button, but do not draw anything. Finally, press the touch button and the game will draw your picture for you.
