ASUS Shows Off a Bunch of New All-in-One Systems

It appears that ASUS is on a real roll these days, or at least at the moment, as not just rumors but even official press releases dealing with its products are coming out in packs, in this instance dealing with all-in-one systems. ASUS has definitely not been bothering to keep a low profile recently, or it tried but failed, as little else can be deduced from all the reports and announcements regarding it.

Among other things, the company delivered the U36 ultrathin, is working on another ultrathin (13-inch ARM-based ) powered by NVIDIA Kal El and is planning a new and improved Eee Pad Transformer tablet.

Turns out that the outfit had a few more things to add, specifically three new all-in-one systems, at least in the European market.

Said machines are the 15.6-inch ET1611PUT and the 20-inch ET2011AUKB and ET2011AUTB.

The ET2011AUKB and ET2011AUTB are powered by the AMD Brazos processor platform, specifically the E-350 APU, which has two 1.6 GHz x86 cores, plus the Radeon HD 6310 integrated graphics.

A 500 GB HDD is present, as are 2 GB of RAM, a DVD combo drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, four USB 2.0 ports, a pair of 2W speakers and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

Both of these 20-inchers run the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit operating system and should start selling for 539 and 589 Euro, respectively (the latter's screen has multitouch support on top of the former's anti-glare coating and resolution of 1,600 x 900 pixels).

As for the 15.6-inch (HD screen, 1,366 x 768 pixels) ET1611PUT, it lacks an operating system and boasts the 1.8 GHz Intel Atom D425 central processing unit, plus the GMA 3150 integrated graphics.

There are also a 2-in-1 card reader, 2W speakers, five USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi and USB 2.0, among other things, all for 369 Euro (449 Euro for adding Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit).
